Terms
These terms cover what CAL.507 provides, what is expected of clients, and how payment, health and liability are handled.
Who these terms are between
Between you and CAL.507, the coaching business of Paul Callender, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. They apply from the point coaching is agreed and paid for.
CAL.507 is the trading name.
What is provided
- Online coaching. Remote 1-to-1 coaching anywhere in the UK: training programming, nutrition guidance, check ins and coach access.
Coaching is a personal service. Programmes, guidance and materials are written for you and are not to be shared, resold or published.
Payment, cancellation and refunds
No payment is taken through this website. Nothing on this site charges you, stores card details or sets up a subscription.
How payment is made, when it is taken, what notice is needed to cancel and what happens if you stop are agreed with Paul directly before coaching starts, and arranged in whatever way works around you. Nothing begins until you have agreed it.
Health
Coaching does not replace medical advice. If you have a diagnosed condition, speak to your GP.
You must tell your coach about any injury, medical condition, medication or pregnancy that could affect training, before you start and as soon as anything changes. Coaching is not medical care and does not replace advice from a doctor or physiotherapist. If you have a diagnosed condition, are pregnant or recently postnatal, speak to your GP first.
You train at your own risk and remain responsible for stopping if something hurts. Follow the guidance given, and do not push through pain to hit a number.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, CAL.507 is not liable for outcomes that depend on your own adherence, or for indirect or consequential loss.
CAL.507 carries 10 million pounds of public liability cover and 5 million pounds of professional indemnity through Insure4Sport, for personal training and weight lifting.
Ending the arrangement
Either side can end coaching. Give reasonable notice and any outstanding arrangement is settled between you. Paul may end it early where somebody is abusive, repeatedly refuses to follow an agreed plan, or where continuing would not be safe.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
